In July 2025 I fell and fractured my spine . This was a shock and caused a lot of pain; which I still have. It has meant adjusting and like when I lost my hearing; emotionally I was effected.
The X-rays that were taken show the compression fracture clearly. I was struck by the detail of the bone and organs internally show how inter connected the spinal structure is with the other parts of our body. Each vertebrae links to a different part of our body. T12 is next to the 12th posterior rib and followed by L1 the first vertebrae of the lumbar spine.
I have begun to work from these images on canvas and hope to develop them further.
